Noah is currently a student pursuing a second Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders at Minot State University before persuing a Master's degree for Speech-Language Pathology at St. Cloud State University. After some consideration and the COVID-19 situation, Noah decided to follow in the footsteps of his mother, a 30+ veteran as a Registered Nurse (BSN) for Indian Health Services.
He is the executive producer of the Huskies Warming House Podcast and has done work for KVSC radio (88.1 FM) and the University Chronicle newspaper at St. Cloud State University (working for the men's and women's hockey teams), as well as side projects for UTVS and Husky Productions.
Noah is a North Dakota native and played in the high school CCM National Invitational Tournament (NIT) in 2015 after a top-5 finish in points in North Dakota High School Hockey. His playing career ended after two college national championships with the Dakota College at Bottineau Lumberjacks of the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Noah has the drive, dedication and team-first attitude it takes to be a part of a successful team. He had offers to play for the Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), as well as multiple National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III offers but instead decided instead on heavily pursuing his academic career.
Before his work at St. Cloud State, Noah was the current color analyst and a game day operator with the 2019 Murdoch Cup-winning Minot State University Beavers of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA D-I). He has done color analyst work for BEK sports productions covering the Minot Minotauros of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). In addition, Noah has done color analyst work (both in the booth and between the benches) for Minot High Hockey and the North Dakota High School West Region Hockey Tournament (WDA) with PROstyle Productions and former ECHL broadcaster Nick Hulberg (Elmira Jackals). This experience taught Noah the skillset to become an integral part of broadcast teams for St. Cloud State hockey.
Finally, he has on-ice experience implementing the American Development Model in his hometown youth programs with David Hoff, the current head coach of the U.S. Olympic Sled Hockey team. Noah has compiled journalism related to hockey development, having written articles for the sports writer Matt Semisch at the Bottineau Courant, who has experience writing for U.S. College Hockey Online and featured Noah in a USCHO article during the 2019-20 season. Lastly, Noah was also a certified USA hockey official for three years.
Over a 20+ year accumulation of experiences as a player, coach, and media reporter has led Noah to possess a large skill set in hockey knowledge, youth coaching and development, game night management, video production, color commentary broadcasting, officiating, in game announcing and podcast hosting/production.
